About the Speaker
Allan Baylis has witnessed the power of effective Leadership in a variety of organizations over 25 years. He has also seen the negative impact weak, unfocused Leadership can have on an organizations most important asset, their people. Allan may be a world class Speaker but he also understands the dramatic impact someone in a leadership role can have. Over many years he has witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly aspects of leadership. In 1998 a region in Ontario with 60 stores suffered annual losses in the millions. As part of a large, international organization Ontario was the least productive region. From 1999-2003 Allan invested 100 days a year and rallied 60 managers to a common goal. Four years later the region was once again profitable and had the top production of any other region in the company. The only thing that really changed was leadership and that can change everything!
